Spa-ce.net - Network Conference 2017 "The Role of Public Sector in Local Economic and Territorial Development in Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe " in Sofia (Bulgaria)
Short description: Spa-ce.net is a common-interest network of Central, Eastern and South Eastern European institutes and organizations active in the field of spatial research and planning. Тhe event included 19 presentations given by 30 participants from nine European countries. Thirty speakers are coming from Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Serbia, Slovakia and The Netherlands. Mr. Dragomir Tzanev, CEO of EnEffect, presented EmBuild activities and its role in professional capacity building in the area of energy efficiency at national and local level.

Meetings with the Municipalities in the Prahova county (Romania)
Short description: AE3R is supporting ten municipalities in Prahova County to elaborate the "Energy Efficiency Improvement Plan" (PIEE). In order to complete this goal, the AE3R is participating in working sessions with the representatives of local authorities in the Prahova county. Official kick-off of this ongoing activity was in Magurele and Lipanesti Municipalities.

RoEnergy2017 (Romania)
Short description: Between the 21-23 June 2017, the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency "AE3R Ploiesti-Prahova" participated with a stand at the RoEnergy South-East Europe International Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Exchange Bucharest 2017, which takes place in Bucharest. AE3R's participation in this prestigious fair aimed to present the EmBuild project and its activities, disseminate renewable energy and energy efficiency agency activities, create a link between public authorities and key actors and decision-makers in the field.

EmBuild project presented within the 61st International Techical Fair (Serbia)
Short description: EmBuild tool was presented to public officers form severalc ollaborating municipalities and wider public within the 61st International Techical Fair at Belgrade Fair on 16th May 2017. Gathered information on the public building stock in the network municipalities as well as methodologies developed within the procejt, on preliminary and detail analysis were presented. A case study of a preliminary analysis of a school in Belgrade was presented. All the material from the presentation is available online as a three piece webinar on EmBuild Serbia youtube channel.

City of Karlovac Sustainable Development Week (Croatia)
Short description: The 'green' conference, organized within the City of Karlovac Sustainable Development Week, was held in the City Hall with more than 100 public officers in audience. Among other interesting presentations from RES&EE area- REGEA held a 40min workshop about energy efficiency measures which can be implemented at low and no-cost. Traditional measures were described as well, together with financial instruments at disposal to public sector.

EmBuild project presented within the Energy efficiency seminar at RENEXPO Water&Energy Western Balkan Conference (Serbia)
Short description: EmBuild project and an on-line platform for calculation of investments in energy efficiency measures in the building stock renewal were presented within the Energy Efficiency seminar at RENEXPO conference on 27th of April 2017. Network of municipalities collaborating on EmBuild project in Serbia, as well as planned activities and scope of the project were presented to wider public and public sector represenatives.

First workshop with local actors! (Slovenia)
Short description: First workshop about the EmBuild’s tools as support to the municipal energy planning was held within Slovene Local Energy Agencies consortium meeting. Workshop took place in Velenje on 13 April 2017 With participants from all Slovenian energy agencies which together covers the entire country from a territorial view. On the workshop also a low and no costs measures catalouge for energy efficiency has been presented.

Presentation of the EmBuild tools in support of the municipal energy planning at an international conference in Gabrovo (Bulgaria)
Short description: One of the main highlights of the event was the EmBuild concept presentation, delivered by eng. Kamen Simeonov, project manager at EnEffect. The EmBuild project and its approaches and tools are beneficial for: analyzing the energy consumption of the municipal buildings, carrying out preliminary analyzes on the spot in the buildings, assessing cheap and free energy efficiency measures , as well as for carrying out detailed analyzes of priority buildings.

EmBuild project presented within the presentation of the project GrenCarrer (Serbia)
Short description: EmBuild project was presented at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering within the presentation of the project GreenCareer on 19th of January 2017. GreenCareer is an ERASMUS+ Programme funded project, which aims to promote green jobs among young people through creation of infrastructure and support for finding a right job in the filed of green economy. EmBuild project presented opportunities in the sector of buidling stock refurbishment and management at local and regional level in the context of opportunities for further development and carrer planning.

National consultation - co-creating the Slovenian national renovation strategy (Slovenia)
Short description: On 12th of January 2017- a workshop entitled “SOUSTVARJANJE SLOVENSKE NACIONALNE STRATEGIJE PRENOVE” (Co-creation of Slovenian national renovation strategy) has been organized in co-organization with the Slovenian Green Building Council, who’s participating in an EU project with very similar objective. The event was held in Ljubljana with participant from different organizations – energy agencies, SMEs including KSSENA with presentation about EmBuild project. Together with all participants we set up the most important steps for national renovation strategy which should be prepared by the end of April this year.

SIE 2016 (Romania)
Short description: The Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency "AE3R Ploiesti-Prahova" participated at the National Symposium on Informatics, Automation and Telecommunications in Energy - SIE 2016, organized by the Society of Energy Engineers in Romania, from the 26-28 of October 2016. During the discussion sessions the current topical issues that concern most of the specialists involved in the energy field were debated. At this year's edition, representatives of AE3R Ploiesti-Prahova presented the EmBuild project and its activities.

Conference on Regional Plans for Climate Adaptation and Implementation of Energy Policies (Italy)
Short description: The conference, co-organized by FEDARENE, the Covenant of Mayors and the Abruzzo Region, is a follow-up of the Paris Accord, focusing in particular on adaptation to climate change and mitigation measures. At the conference, Mr. Catalin CSASZAR, project manager at the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency "AE3R Ploiesti-Prahova", presented the EmBuild project, which supports the public authorities in the South-Eastern European countries to prepare a long-term strategy for mobilizing investments in the energy sector.

C4E Forum (Bulgaria)
Short description: The benefits of EmBulid for capacity building was represented during the first edition of the international C4E Forum (Central and Eastern European Energy Efficiency Forum) which has been held near Balchik, Northeast Bulgaria. C4E Forum focuses especially on discussions concerning energy strategies and local energy and climate adaptation planinng. EcoEnergy demonstrated its leading role for local capacity building in a special workshop.

Eco-Municipality Contest and Seminar (Bulgaria)
Short description: The contest, organized by the French Institute in Bulgaria, with special participation of public, local authorities and industry partners, is focusing on to climate change and mitigation measures. Its aim is to promote tools for improving the energy efficiency of public building and housing. At the seminar, EnEffect as a jury member, presented the EmBuild project, which supports the public authorities to establish goals and pathways in their long-term strategy for mobilizing investments in the energy sector.

Short description: On 9 June a conference entitled “Realizacija dolgoročne strategije za energetsko obnovo stavb” (Realization of long-term building renovation strategy ) has been organized. Info day for Energy Efficiency calls in programme Horizon 2020 (Croatia)

NALAS Energy Efficiency Task Force and GIZ EeMA Project meet to discuss energy efficiency measures at local level (Austria)
Short description: The meeting of NALAS Task Force on Energy Efficiency took place in Vienna on the 08-09 March 2016. The TF EE meeting gathered in total 21 participants and the main focus of the discussions was regional cooperation in SEE related with energy efficiency, joint projects, activities and follow-ups related to energy efficiency at local level in South-East Europe.
